The CZECRIN expert educates the young generation

Elementary School Sirotkova in Brno took the current situation firmly into its own hands, and the Pupil’s Parliament set up a “live” discussion for pupils in grades 3-9. About 15 pupils meet regularly with the guest of the discussion and are educated in culture, sports, science and others. On February 8, two healthcare workers sat in the virtual so-called “Guest Armchair”. The guest was Mgr. Hana Blahýnková, the mother of one of the students, introduced the Masaryk Cancer Institute and talked about her work at the Department of Clinical Trials in the study coordinator position. The second guest was PharmDr. Lenka Součková, Ph.D. from St. Anne’s University Hospital Brno and Masaryk University, who is part of our CZECRIN team. She introduced students to the principle and importance of vaccination, the origin of vaccines and information about the current state of the Covid-19 vaccine.

On behalf of CZECRIN, we are very grateful for the opportunity to introduce young generations not only to the current situation. We firmly believe that based on the information obtained, it will be easier for students to find their way in the amount of information that is currently available to them and that they can evaluate it more easily or think about it better. Furthermore, even though the presentation is intended for primary school pupils, it contains interesting and valuable information for all ages. Therefore, we also provide you with a presentation of Dr. Součková with spoken commentary to watch here (available only in the Czech language). We will be pleased to help you or your children/students obtain new information or better understand the current situation.
