Patient recruitment for the TTV-GUIDE IT clinical trial has begun in the Czech Republic

On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, patient recruitment for the TTV-GUIDE IT clinical trial began in the Czech Republic. CZECRIN research infrastructure is also actively involved in this study.

This is a non-inferiority, randomized, controlled trial comparing safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy between standard and Torque Teno virus-directed immunosuppression in stable adult renal transplant recipients at low immunological risk in the first year after transplantation. The sponsor of this study is the Medical University of Vienna. The only participating center in the Czech Republic is IKEM, where the main investigator is prof. MD Ondřej Viklický, CSc.
