Invitation to Trial Participation: “Willingness to Participate in COVID-19 Vaccine Trials” SURVEY

Dear students,

We would like to invite you to participate in a short survey entitled Willingness to participate in clinical trials testing the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines. All responses are recorded anonymously and may take 5 minutes to complete.

Through this survey, we aim to:

✔ Get a better sense of people’s attitudes towards COVID-19 vaccine trials and vaccine trials in general.
✔ Identify what influences people’s willingness to take part in COVID-19 or other vaccine trials across different countries in Europe.
✔ Inform and improve communication about vaccine trials.

VACCELERATE (European Corona Vaccine Trial Accelerator Platform) has been in existence since spring 2021. Masaryk University is a partner through its research infrastructure CZECRIN. It is involved in the implementation of phase II and III vaccine trials against COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. The representatives for the Czech Republic are Prof. Petr Husa, MD., PhD (Head of the Infectious Diseases Clinic of the Brno University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Brno) and Assoc. Prof. Regina Demlová, MD., Ph.D. (Head of the Institute of Pharmacology, LF MU and principal investigator of the CZECRIN).
