Head of CZECRIN again as a guest of the Round Tables of the Medical Diary (Zdravotnický deník)

The topic of oncological diseases is becoming more and more important. If there was no COVID-19 pandemic, oncological diseases would be the number one topic among the professional public. Now it is finally getting its space. In correlation with the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, a National Oncology Program was established in the Czech Republic, which was approved by the government on June 22 this year.

What does this document bring, why is it important and how does the Czech Republic generally stand in comparison with other European countries in the field of oncology? What effect does digitization have on this issue? What role do multidisciplinary teams play? And what about insurance reimbursement models? You will find the answers to not only these questions in the series of these articles (Czech language only):

  1. I přes úspěchy české onkologie není cesta pacienta systémem vždy přímá. Národní onkologický program a peníze z plánu obnovy by to mohly změnit
  2. Digitalizace a multidisciplinární týmy. To je podle onkologů cesta, jak dostat pacienta co nejrychleji ke správné diagnóze a péči
  3. Na nejmodernější terapie současné platební modely nestačí. Ty nové se neobejdou bez dat z klinické praxe, ale kde je vzít?
