CZECRIN Academy celebrates the first successful workshop this year

At the turn of March and April, CZECRIN, as CZECRIN Academy, organized the first training of this year on the topic of Project Management and Monitoring in Clinical Drug Evaluation (KH). Among other things, the training introduced the CZECRIN Academy to the wider world, together with its newly created identity based on the CZECRIN brand. This branch of a large research infrastructure focuses on pre- and postgraduate education in the field of clinical research, and subsequent educational events will be created under its auspices.

The training took place at FNUSA-ICRC on Thursday 31 March and Friday 1 April, when each day was dedicated to one area. On Thursday, the participants addressed the issue of Project Management. After the theoretical introduction came a practical and discussion part, in which the individual participants could, under the guidance of trainers from CZECRIN, fill out, for example, a CTA (Clinical Trial Application) form or share their previous experience and get answers to their questions. resulting from the very process of preparation and management of CT. Friday was then dedicated to Monitoring, which is an integral part of the implementation of CT. As on the previous day, this part of the training was introduced by theory and, in the practical part, the participants were involved in an interactive workshop, which was based on experience and questions from practice and in which the participants themselves participated.

The event was implemented with the organizational support of the PharmAround endowment fund and was guaranteed by the Czech Association of Nurses. The training was attended by 27 people from all over the country, who subsequently rated the whole workshop as a very useful and well-prepared training. The participants greatly appreciated not only the content and form of the individual parts, but also the opportunity to meet colleagues and compare solutions to problems in a given hospital.
