TRIANGLE PROJECT

About the Project

About the TRIANGLE Project

The TRIANGLE project is a Czech-Swiss cooperation initiative aimed at strengthening clinical research infrastructures and developing their capacity to conduct high-quality clinical trials.

The project addresses key challenges in the field of clinical research, including the limited availability of qualified professionals, increasing regulatory complexity, and the need for innovation in advanced therapies. Through education, research, and collaboration, TRIANGLE creates a comprehensive framework for the sustainable development of clinical research.

By integrating education, regulatory science, and technological progress, the project supports national and international research activities and contributes to participation in European initiatives such as Horizon Europe.

All major outputs of the TRIANGLE project, including publications, methodologies, and recommendations, will be available via open access so that they can serve the broader research community.

TRIANGLE Project Partners

Swiss Clinical Trial Organization (SCTO)

The Swiss Clinical Trial Organisation is a national academic research infrastructure supporting clinical researchers across all therapeutic areas. The SCTO provides training, education, and practical resources, including best practices and tools, alongside a full range of expert scientific services at the local level. These services strengthen the planning, conduct, and analysis of high-quality, patient-centred clinical research projects, helping to deliver better therapies to patients and validate medical innovation.

Czech Clinical Research Infrastructure Network

is the Czech national research infrastructure supporting academic clinical research across therapeutic areas. It connects specialist centres, healthcare institutions and research teams, providing methodological, regulatory and organisational support for the preparation and conduct of clinical trials. Based at the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University, CZECRIN helps advance high-quality, independent and patient-centred clinical research in the Czech Republic and fosters international collaboration.

MUNI Faculty of Medicine

The Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University (MED MUNI) combines the education of future healthcare professionals with biomedical research and clinical practice. Through collaboration with university hospitals and research partners, it supports the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches and their application in patient care. The faculty also hosts CZECRIN, a research infrastructure supporting the preparation and conduct of academic clinical trials. MED MUNI brings this expertise, its educational resources, and its experience in international collaboration and clinical research development to the TRIANGLE project.
