PharmTech Laboratories

PharmTech Labs are multidisciplinary research units focused on chemical and cellular pharmacology. They integrate expertise in bioanalytical methods, cellular and molecular pathophysiology, advanced genomics, and protein engineering.
Within the OP JAK PHARMTECH project, they have undergone major modernization and now provide state-of-the-art analytical and biotechnological tools for preclinical and translational research.

GMP units for ATMP production

GMP units represent certified cleanroom facilities for the manufacturing of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) intended for translational research and early-phase clinical trials.
As a national ATMP Hub, they strengthen the Czech Republic’s capacity for innovative therapeutic approaches and enable the implementation of high-quality, often multinational ATMP clinical trials.

The GMP Unit of UHKT has GMP certification for the production and quality control of advanced and gene therapy medicines at the EU level, including aseptic production and specialized laboratory methods.
