A disease oriented network linking clinical and research sites active in clinical research in interventional cardiology and acute cardiovascular care. Its aim is to support academic clinical research aimed at improving the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of patients with heart disease and its prevention.

CZECRIN | intCARDIO supports clinical research in interventional and acute cardiology. The network connects cardiology centres and research teams across the Czech Republic with the aim of improving the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease and contributing to improving the safety and quality of care for cardiology patients.

  • CZECRIN | intCARDIO is committed to the long-term development and innovation of preventive and curative care through academic clinical research by establishing a national network of clinical and research centres focused on interventional and acute cardiology.

     

  • The aim is to strengthen academic clinical research that brings new insights to optimize the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of acute and chronic heart disease, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, data sharing and the implementation of innovative therapeutic approaches into practice through multicentre clinical trials.

CZECRIN | intCARDIO is disease oriented network

 

linking clinical sites, researchers and experts working in the areas of clinical research focused on interventional cardiology and acute cardiovascular care. It aims to promote academic clinical research that provides new insights to improve the diagnosis, treatment and long-term care of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular disease.

 

The network was established at the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady (FNKV) under the leadership of Prof. Zuzana MUDr. Motiovská, Ph.D., and is based on the successful collaboration of Czech cardiology centres involved in academic studies, such as the international multicentre clinical trial DAPT-SHOCK-AMI, which was successfully completed and enrolled a total of 605 patients from 5 European countries (CZ, PL, SK, GE, FR).

 

CZECRIN | intCARDIO aims to develop independent, multicentre clinical research whose results have a direct impact on clinical practice and contribute to improving the quality, efficiency and safety of cardiac care in the Czech Republic and Europe.
