Annotation
The CZECRIN_PHARMTECH project is focused on the development and modernisation of the technological equipment of the Large Research Infrastructure CZECRIN.
The project activities are aimed at acquiring new and upgrading existing technological equipment of the beneficiary and the partner in order to further develop and improve the services provided to users of the infrastructure.
Research capacity for innovative clinical research and drug development through non-commercial clinical trials will be expanded.
News
New equipment for the technological units is being acquired and put into operation, while the services to be offered to users in open access mode are being defined.
The CZECRIN_PHARMTECH project specifically focuses on the development and upgrade of the TECHNOLOGY UNITS, in particular the existing GMP units operating under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and the development of Pharmacology Units.
These new and upgraded units will complement the portfolio of clinical research services offered in open access mode to the research community.
Modernised GMP units
The implementation of the submitted project will modernize 2 GMP units.
GMP Unit
Centre for Cell and Tissue Engineering (CTEF cGMP)
The unit is located at the LRI CZECRIN partner in St. Anne’s University Hospital in Brno, FNUSA. It is focused on research, development and GMP production of somatic cell medicines, subsequently evaluated in clinical trials, especially within the CZECRIN|ONCO network.
GMP Unit
GMP MU unit
The unit is located within the Masaryk University (MU), Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion (IHT). This unit is part of the Institute of Pharmacology of the Masaryk University and is focused on research, development and GMP production of advanced therapeutics (ATMP).

Cellular unit
engaged in research in the fields of chemical and cellular pharmacology; the unit consists of the Bioanalytical Laboratory (Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, MU), the Psychopharmacological Laboratory (a detached unit of the MU National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) – this unit is part of the Institute of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, MU) and the Molecular Pathophysiological Laboratory (Department of Pathophysiology, Faculty of Medicine, MU).

Protein unit
engaged in research of protein characteristics (Loschmidt Laboratory of Protein Engineering, Faculty of Science, MU).
