A Turning Point in Modern Medicine: Psychedelics Enter Clinical Practice

Starting on the 1st 1. As of 2026, psychedelic substances may be used for medical purposes in the Czech Republic.
This step is the result of long-term, systematic scientific and clinical work based on solid data, an emphasis on patient safety, and a responsible approach to clinical research.

We have great respect for the team at the National Institute of Mental Health, particularly Prof. Jiří Horáček and Dr. Tomáš Páleníček and their team, who have long been dedicated to researching the use of psychedelics in the treatment of depression and in supportive care for cancer patients.

CZECRIN had the opportunity to partner in the preparation and implementation of clinical trials that contributed to this important advancement in clinical research and practice. We greatly appreciate the trust placed in us, the collaboration, and the opportunity to be part of the long journey from research to the actual implementation of the findings in real-world medical practice.
