CZECRIN | PEDIATRIC

A disease oriented network linking clinical and research sites focused on clinical research in the pediatric population, including the areas of personalized medicine, rare diseases including pediatric oncology.

The network supports academic clinical trials in paediatric patients across medical disciplines and aims to transfer innovative approaches into clinical practice to improve the availability of modern treatments and the quality of preventive care for children in the Czech Republic.

Mission CZECRIN | PEDIATRIC

The mission of the CZECRIN | PEDIATRIC network is to support academic research and clinical trials focused on innovative treatments for paediatric patients, especially in the field of oncological, genetic and rare diseases, such as metabolic defects, immunodeficiencies or haematological diseases.

The network creates an environment that brings together the expertise of clinical teams, research laboratories and specialised paediatric departments so that new scientific knowledge can be effectively translated into clinical practice and turned into real benefits for paediatric patients and their families.

Vision CZECRIN | PEDIATRIC

To build a national platform for academic clinical research in paediatrics focused on innovative treatments for paediatric patients.
To link cutting-edge clinical centres with research and professional institutions dedicated to the development and evaluation of innovative treatment approaches in paediatric medicine.
Support the design, validation and implementation of clinical trials focused on pediatric oncology, rare, genetic and immunological diseases, with emphasis on safety and efficacy of tested interventions, data quality and benefit to pediatric patients.
Strengthen international cooperation and active involvement of Czech research teams in European and global initiatives, especially within Horizon Europe programmes and research networks focused on paediatric oncology and rare diseases.
Establish partnerships with foreign academic centres, paediatric consortia and regulatory institutions that share know-how in clinical research and paediatric medicine.
To provide paediatric patients in the Czech Republic with access to modern therapeutic options through academically initiated studies and international research projects.

The network brings together experts who are dedicated to the development, evaluation and implementation of new therapeutic approaches to improve the availability of modern and innovative healthcare for children in the Czech Republic.

The main pillar of the network is paediatric oncology, which also provides methodological support for the development of academic clinical trials in other paediatric areas.
