A disease oriented network linking clinical and research institutions working in the field of infectious diseases, immunology and vaccinology.
Its aim is to support academic clinical research focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and to strengthen the Czech Republic’s preparedness for infectious diseases.
Mission CZECRIN | INFECT
We support the establishment and development of academic clinical trials focused on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases in accordance with the principles of evidence-based medicine.
Our aim is to strengthen collaboration between Czech infectious medicine centres and to link scientific research with clinical practice in order to bring concrete benefits to patients and the healthcare system.
Vision CZECRIN | INFECT
- Create a national network for academic clinical research in infectious diseases and vaccinology.
- Support multicentre clinical trials with national and international impact.
- Strengthen scientific preparedness for emerging infectious threats and increase health system resilience through research.
- Promote the sharing of data, expertise and innovative approaches between Czech and European institutions.
- Raise awareness of the prevention, treatment and diagnosis of infectious diseases among the general public.
CZECRIN | INFECT is a disease oriented network
linking specialised clinical and research centres working in the field of infectious diseases, immunology and vaccinology.
This disease network was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic with the aim of creating a coordinated platform to support academic clinical research on infectious diseases, streamlining the implementation of multicentre clinical trials and strengthening the Czech Republic’s infectious disease preparedness.
