In the Czech Republic, it is authorized by the State Institute for Drug Control, and it has just been granted for the very first time in the country for a specific product from the CREATIC Center of Excellence. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This step is a significant confirmation that it is possible to create a professional, regulatory, and institutional environment in the Czech Republic that supports the safe introduction of highly innovative therapies into clinical practice. This is a major success not only for CREATIC but also for the entire system, which enables modern medicine to develop responsibly, with an emphasis on quality, safety, and real benefits for patients. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A hospital exemption was granted for an autologous dendritic cell immunotherapy product intended for 24 pediatric and young adult patients with a specific type of high-risk solid tumor. The treatment will be administered at the Department of Pediatric Oncology at Brno University Hospital; the authorization covers 24 patients for a period of two years. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This result is the product of long and exceptionally demanding professional work, bringing together drug development, production and quality control, pharmacovigilance, regulatory expertise, and clinical readiness. At the same time, it serves as important evidence that collaboration among top-tier expert teams, open dialogue with the regulator, and a responsible approach by public institutions can collectively pave the way for treatment where the medical need is greatest. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A big thank you goes to everyone who contributed to this groundbreaking step: the CREATIC and CREPROFA teams, experts in regulatory processes and pharmacovigilance, our partners at CZECRIN, as well as S\u00daKL for its expert assessment and for fulfilling its role as the national regulatory authority.
